Act, Rules and Regulations
The function of the Tribunal is to:
- hear and determine complaints under the Anti Discrimination Act
1991
- hear applications for Exemptions
- provide opinions to the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner
- hear applications for Interim Orders
- review some decisions of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner.
2005 Amendments of the Anti-Discrimination
Act 1991
The Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 has
been amended by the Justice and Other Legislation
Amendment Act 2005, which received assent and came into
effect on 8 December 2005. A summary of the amendments is given
below.
