Pride Happy Campers 2002 - a great success in "Advancing Human Rights"

In June, for the fourth year, the Commission set up an information stall at the annual Pride Fair Day (a celebration of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities). Commission staff also participated in the Pride march from King George Square in the city to the fair day at Musgrave Park, South Brisbane. Our banner announcing we are "Advancing Human Rights" was well received by the crowds watching and participating in the procession.

This year our stall was set up in the community tent - a fantastic location as more people than ever stopped to have a chat, get information from Commission staff (including the Commissioner) and to pick up our range of publications.
