Sari Day
As some celebrated World Environment Day in May, female staff in Brisbane took up a generous offer by staff member, Yogita Sharma, and enjoyed the first Sari Day held in the Commission. Yogita handpicked saris for all from her extensive personal wardrobe, as we shared lunch and conversation. Unfortunately, the male staff had to make do with their everyday clothes, while the women revelled in the texture and style of what was, for most of us, unfamiliar garb.
