Training Program 1998
Staff at the Commission have developed a training program for
the first half of 1998. The program targets private, public and
community sector workers and courses range from general
introductory sessions to specialised or advanced courses.
Numbers on all courses will be limited, and we expect a high
level of interest. Further information will be available closer
to the dates mentioned.

Short sessions on
discrimination and sexual harassment for
staff in the hospitality industry in the
Gold Coast area. |

Early March |
Half day courses for
community sector workers in South-East
Queensland. We expect to hold sessions in
Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and
the Gold Coast. |

Late March/Early April |
Half day courses
"Getting to Know the Act" in
Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns |
|
Mid April |
‘Working with the
Act’, an advanced half day course
for people involved with the Act on a
regular basis. |
|
Mid June |
‘Getting to Know the
Act’, an introductory half day
course for people interested in an
overview of the legislation. |
