Outreach Program Takes Off

An outreach team within the Commission has been established to develop links with Indigenous communities. The team consists of the Brisbane office Indigenous staff, Liz Bond and Cec Fisher, and members of the Community Relations team.

The primary focus of the outreach team has been to increase the Commission’s visibility and profile by visiting communities and advising about the new Commission, developing a media strategy for publicity in both Indigenous and other media, and planning for NAIDOC Week in July.
