COMMITTEES

The Commission continues its representation on a range of committees, including the Police Liaison Steering Committee.

This group oversees a pilot project to establish Police Liaison Officers for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities, and applications are being sought from interested police officers.

A recent meeting agreed to launch the project on the tentative date of 10 November, to coincide with the Queer Summer Festival.
