TRAINING COURSES - GETTING TO KNOW THE
ACT
For the first time in its history, the Commission will be
marketing training courses in anti-discrimination legislation.
Two half-day sessions planned for 6 and 20 November will
provide an overview of the Act, including sexual harassment.
Other topics include the complaint handling process and
discussion of case studies. This initial training is targeted at
the business and industry sector in South-East Queensland.
Further sessions are being arranged for the community sector.
