Let us know
The Anti-Discrimination Commission Qld has a research and consultation role in relation to human rights. An issue of concern to us is the potential for vilification and discrimination arising from the current marriage equality debate and postal survey.
Under the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 , vilification on the basis of race, religion, gender identity and sexuality is prohibited. If you believe you have been vilified, you have the right to make a complaint to the Commission. If you'd rather not make a formal complaint we'd still like to hear your story. You can let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage reports and stories from individuals as well as from community groups.
You can send your stories to us anonymously and the information you provide will be used in a non-identified way to help improve services.
