Our services

The services offered by the ADCQ include provision of a telephone enquiry service, training and education, management of complaints, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' outreach and the provision of print and non-print resources.

Publications - Our services
Telephone enquiry service
Enquiry staff are available during office hours on a toll free telephone number or TTY.
Training and education services
The ADCQ offers training to increase community awareness of discrimination law in Queensland.
Complaint management services
The ADCQ receives and deals with complaints of unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, vilification, victimisation and other contraventions of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' liaison
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Unit works to ensure issues important to Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander peoples stay on the human rights agenda.
Resources
The ADCQ has a range of print and non-print resources, some of which are free of charge.
Media
The Commissioner issues press releases and makes submissions to public inquiries.
