Kevin Cocks AM - Commissioner

Kevin Cocks, a highly respected human rights and disabilities advocate has been appointed Anti-Discrimination Commissioner. The appointment of Mr Cocks is for four years from 7 February 2011.

Attorney-General Cameron Dick described Kevin Cocks as 'a well-respected champion of human rights' . He continued: 'With his background at Queensland Advocacy Incorporated, he has broad knowledge of the human rights and disability landscape, both internationally and nationally, and received a Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Medal in 2005.'

 

Neroli Holmes - Deputy Commissioner

The Deputy Commissioner is Neroli Holmes. She is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and has practised law in Queensland and the United Kingdom.

Prior to appointment as Deputy Commissioner, she held the positions of Registrar of the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal and Legal Officer at the Commission.
